The Rock and the Wave !

The rock stands for the wave's embrace
for its kisses to shower its face...
but the wave returns after a momentary touch...
to return again with love so much ..

  1. Ah exactly what I was talking about. There's this poem (can't remember the poet's name... Shame) that describes the waves hitting rocks as you do. The transition it takes is that the waves wither away the rock in time. This showed that the rock being the symbol for love, and waves being the symbol of time, washed away as time went by. It was about loss of love--described as something as strong as a rock (love), disintegrating with time. Your poem reminds me of it. Will try to hunt for the poet's name (Romantic era).
