A journey started with one thing to get
To meet the one whom I hadn't met
In a long time that seemed like ages
A travel through life's most beautiful pages
As I head back now I feel no power
As I loose control with every hour
A strange emotion sweeps my mind
As I travel back with my heart left behind
The ways of the world I don't know much
But strange are the things of the heart as such
That a simple smile and a look is all-
It Took to melt it and make it fall
I now have friends among the stars
The Sun and Moon chat with me for hours
I talk at length about her face
About her soul so pure so full of grace
The heart just wants...what it wants
But one's love is not a trophy, one flaunts...
Just a heartfelt wish for all her joys so true
Is all I ask for in words so few.

Very passionate. I will "renegade" here, lol. One thing I notice is that "love" takes a woman's form in the poems I've read by you so far. Romanticism era literature describes love through nature and life. The feeling is personified, not the being. Is that what you're exploring?
ReplyDeleteYou'll be the first one to know as soon as I figure out what I am exploring dear ...:-)
