Being away from one's country is not as easy as it may seem or sound , but believe me, wherever you may be India is within you, it lives within you and grows with you.As an overseas Indian I consider myself lucky enough to see my own culture from a different vantage point, in my case from Bogota, Colombia on the other side of the planet.India looks all the more beautiful from here, and I must admit, I have learnt things about my culture that I overlooked back home or took for granted.Things that are too beautiful to be attempted to be put into words, values too deep to be just understood by a materialistic frail mind and friends and family too loving not to be missed.
It may be a while before I head back home, but India lives within me and its love flourishes within the heart of every Indian who is away from his motherland.
